Our Full Funeral Service(Traditional) includes, but is not limited to: our staff responding to the initial request for services including the care of the deceased; arrangement conference with the family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and permits; placement of obituaries in newspapers and social media; planning of the funeral arrangements; and coordination of services with the cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required.
While there is an increased interest in personalized funerals and cremations, a Traditional Service follows a traditional pattern so families know what to expect. A traditional funeral makes many of your choices easier because there is an established etiquette for the different stages of the ceremony.
The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) conducted a survey to calculate the median cost of a funeral. In 2021, the median cost was $7,848 without a vault; including the vault increased the cost to $9,420. The cost does not take into account cemetery, monument or marker costs or miscellaneous cash-advance charges, such as for flowers or an obituary.
Many factors contribute to how an individual funeral home prices its good and services, including the firm's business philosophy and the market in which it operates.
