To Mrs. Kjelgaard (Barbara) and family: I have nice memories of Mr. Kjelgaard during my years growing up in State College and attending St. Andrew's. As a young boy, adults could seem big and scary, but he (and you, too, Mrs. Kjelgaard) was someone who was always warm and kind. It's been years since I've seen him, but from all that I remember, he made the world a better place.
