To Eleanor's family, my fond memories of your loved one provide comfort to you during this difficult time. I personally did not know Eleanor, but rather, knew of her through my late aunt, Irene Terczak. When Irene was with us, she spoke very fondly of her time with"Groovy". Irene would visit Eleanor when she resided in Hershey Run and the "Golden Girls" would do lunches, an occasional shopping trip and share "gab time" in person or on the phone. Irene related to me the free spirit that she possessed and how "Groovy" made her laugh so hard at times that her stomach hurt. True friends they were.
When I was 15 years of age, I lost my mom to cancer. I recall that Eleanor sent a beautiful floral tribute to her funeral. Even though she probably did it because my mom and Irene were sisters, her thoughtfulness did not go unforgotten.
I shall keep Eleanor in my prayers. For what you have lost, heaven has gained another angel.
