Dear Leda, Erik, and Raul,
I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you, your families, and friends on the death of your wonderful mother. Though it's been years since my last meeting with Rima (at your father's funeral gathering at Koch's), she and your father were an integral part of my State College childhood -- and I am all the richer for it.
Seeing this incredible generation -- including, now, both of my parents -- pass isn't easy, even with the knowledge that they have been fortunate enough to have lived long, productive, and fulfilling lives. . . .
Please know that you are in my thoughts during what I know is a difficult time.
