Barbara and Lou's Family, I had the honor of knowing your Mother while she resided in State College. Lou was one of my Volunteers Thursday evenings in the Gift Shop at Mount Nittany Medical Center. The Snack Bar Staff always brought her dinner to the Gift Shop, usually soup and fruit. I so enjoyed your Mother and we shared family stories. We had a common interest in sewing, quilting and the love of the color purple and fine jewelry. We had a Pittsburgh tie as my husband is from Pittsburgh and his cousin worked with your Dad at Keppe Jewelry! We always talked about the Grand Kids and the Great GrandKids. She loved to buy Baby Gifts. I will make a donation to MNMC Foundation Office to our Student Scholarship Fund. She was a Grand Lady and I will miss her. Carol Strauss
