Coach Wausat was such an influential person in my development as a person and basketball player. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
One of my most vivid memories of Coach Wausat is he never cut any players on the 9th grade basketball team. I had the privilege of playing on his team my 7th, 8th, and 9th grade years.

Your Dad was an amazing man. Not only did he do a lot in his life he was humble, smart, and always on the go. I'm going to miss him. He always made me feel welcome and one of the family. God is going to have a mighty warrior in his army.

Uncle Hal always talked about fishing with me when I was a young man. He gave me some advice that I have used all my life. He recognized that it was a passion we both shared. He told me to take time to enjoy this passion. It took me a while to realize he wasn't just talking about fishing. I have tried to use his advice in all aspects of my life. Thank you Uncle Hal for all you did for me.

To my uncle Hal ,
You were my hero when I was young, you helped me me to learn right from wrong!! I loved you so much! Even all the years we were apart I though of all you taught me and tried to do right!! You and my aunt Helen were my second parents! Without you two I don't think I'd be where I am right now! I will love you always!!!
Love,
Darla

I remember Uncle Hal as a kind, gentle man who was also full of life. He seemed fascinated by the world around him, intelligent, and most important to me, always seemed to be interested in what I had to say.
He and Aunt Helen were the best "fake" relatives I had! Lonie and Laurie, I am proud to have been even a small part of your wonderful family.
I know he will be greatly missed, and I hope that you are able to take comfort in the fact that he touched so many lives in such a positive way during his almost 100 years.
