Obituary of Stefanie Y. Brown Ishler

Stefanie Y. “Stef” Brown Ishler, 47, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Stormstown, died on Friday, August 28, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, TN. Born May 29, 1968, in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of Carolyn Brown and the late Franklin Wade Brown. On June 14, 1986, she married Douglas Scott Ishler of Bellefonte, who survives. She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Brown Errigo and her husband, Michael J., of Clearfield; three children, Derek Franklin Ishler and his wife, Shanne, of San Marcos, TX, Korianna Elizabeth Ishler and her fiancé, Benjamin Kustenbauder, of Warriors Mark and Maggie Silvis and her husband, Robert “Bobby”, of Stormstown; one brother, Ryan Brown of Bellefonte; one sister, Kimberlee Woodring and her husband, Scott, of Port Matilda; nine grandchildren, Alyssa, Justin, Brandon, Wyatt, Kayden, Mykia, Riley, Stella and Carter. Stef was a 1986 graduate of State College Area High School and was a member of Stormstown United Methodist Church. For the past 25 years, she was employed by Jostens, Inc. of State college, more recently of Clarksville, TN, as a Bindery Coordinator, which she loved. She enjoyed auto racing, crocheting, knitting and antiquing. Stef loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m., on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the funeral home, with the Reverend Jeffery Mugridge officiating. Burial will be in Grays Cemetery.
