Dear Meyer Family--
I spent many happy hours with Margy through High School and college. Margy was the one who taught me how to twirl baton and it was us who were the original taste testers for Meyer Dairy Ice Cream! The first flavor to be made was strawberry! Margy was an exceptional person who was honestly one of the kindest souls I've ever known. I don't think she had a mean bone in her body!
Unfortunately I was unable to attend Margy's service. On Labor Day I stopped by the cemetery to pay my respects and saw Carolyn with Aprille and Meredith hugging each other at Margy's graveside. I didn't want to intrude on their moment but I wanted you to know that I'd been there and how touching it was to see the three of them together. You've all been in my thoughts over these past couple of weeks.
Margy was a joy and a force of nature.
