I knew Elaine from working with her in Walmart many years ago. From the vey first day, the moment I met her, I knew she was a warm, wonderful person. Elaine made me feel so comfortable in Walmart. She made my time in Walmart fun and exciting. She just had such a funny way a making life good. Seeing a situation and looking at the funny things in that situation. We had many , many conversations about our lives ,the good and the bad,and about everything under the sun. Working in Walmart was just a job, but when Elaine was there, and we worked together, it was special, not just a job. I used to go there on my days off, just to talk to Elaine because I liked her so much. I was sorry when she left Walmart, and missed her. Than I met her again after Walmart when she worked at Goodwill stores, and she than told me of her health issues. She suffered with that for many years, never really going away.
Even though she had those health issues, she still looked at the bright side of life. And still made me laugh. For me, the world was a better place when Elaine was there.
Than, I met her again where we both living the same apartment building in our town. the first thing she would tell people was about how we worked together in Walmart, and that wonderful smile she had would light up her face. She so enjoyed telling people how we worked together, and I think she felt the same way about me as I did about her..
I moved out of Pennsylvania 3 years ago, but saw her just before I moved away. She was the best of the people in that building.
Now, I am so sad to hear of Elaines passing, and miss her. I try to look back at all those happy times we had together.
I now wish to give my condolences to her family and friends.
