Obituary of Richard Flebotte

Richard T. Flebotte 80 a resident of State College died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the Fairways at Brookline. Born September 8, 1930 in Springfield, MA, the son of the late Edward T. and Mary Mould Flebotte. He is survived by his wife the former Patricia Kostenick of State College and three children, one daughter, Kathryn A. Carlidge and husband Mark of Glenside, two sons, Richard R. Flebotte and his wife Dee of Dunedin, FL and Ronald E. Flebotte and wife Sue Ann of State College. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. And 1 sister, Joan Tambussi and husband Ronald of Palo Alto, CA. also survived by his first wife Lyda A. Flebotte of New Smyrna Beach, FL. He was preceded in death by one daughter Karen. Richard was President of Progressive News Co. a distributor of newspapers and magazines, for 25 years and retired in 1979. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Services will be private at the convenience of the family with Monsignor David Lockard officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College, PA 16801-4197
