Dear Grace,
I was truly sorry to hear of the passing of my second cousin Jay. His grandmother and my grandmother were sisters. I have very fond memories of his mother, Miriam visiting us in New York and the families meeting in Atlantic City.
Jay has been the only one I've remained in contact with all these years and I enjoyed often times reminiscing with him. I loved his quick wit and sense of humor, and looked forward to those responses when I sent him an email.
I will truly miss him. So sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences. Jay was a friend for over 60 years starting from the time he was our B'Nai B'rith Youth Organization "advisor." He was the adult, yet we felt he was one of us. Later on, summers at home during college and law school were brightened by evening visits with Jay and Barbara where we told jokes and solved the world's problems.
Rest in peace, my friend.

Let me first extend my heartfelt sympathy to Jay's family. The loss must touch you very deeply as you face these first numbing days of grief. I met Jay, too briefly, sixty-one years ago. We spoke as he allowed a sixteen year old high school boy to drive his Jaguar XK-120, a thrill still remembered. He gave me sage advice that has served me for all my life, and others that I shared it with. I was impressed with his kindness and intelligence. What he did for me was like dropping a pebble into a pond, the positive ripples are still expanding. Thank you, Jay ...rest in peace. You and yours' are in my thoughts and prayers.
