Obituary of Margaret Walker

Margaret L. Walker 94 a resident of State College died Thursday May 19, 2011 at The Fairways at Brookline. Born September 27, 1916 in Onatona, MN she was the daughter of the late Earl and Emma Brown Creswell. She married Darrell E. Walker on June 26, 1943 he preceded her in death on July 7, 1973. She is survived by two children, Ann W. Monaghan and husband John of Mansfield and Stephen C. Walker and his wife Cathleen of Wexford. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren Emma Walker, and Kate and Dan Monaghan, and 1 great-grandson Peter. She received her BA Degree from Doane College in Crete, NE. She taught piano for several years in State College. She enjoyed bridge, crossword puzzles and reading. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
