I had the pleasure of initially meeting Jane by telephone through a mutual friend, Joyce Angelini. Jane extended her home to me when I visited my son, Michael during his Senior year at Penn State. Jane made it possible for me to attend a football game as I could not afford to pay for a hotel due to recent job loss.
MIchael and I met Jane in person during his graduation weekend. Jane invited us to dinner and prepared a delicious salad with salmon. We shared wondergul red wine and great conversation. Jane provided Michael with some great tips on resume format and interviewing skills, which was very helpful for him. He now works at ESPN.
We truly felt blessed for spending time with a wonderful person.
My thoughts and prayers to Jane's family. I am very sorry for your loss.

I count myself fortunate to have met Jane in water classes at the Y. We had many wonderful conversations about art, music, travel and teaching, and I will miss her terribly. What a lovely, gracious and fun lady!

Jane is a brave, beautiful woman our family will never forget. Her humor and kindness were boundless. We have many wonderful memories of sharing meals, especially around the holidays, with Jane. She was a great friend of my parents, Steve and Sara. She will be missed terribly.

I can't tell you how sad I am to hear this news. I will always think of Jane as so vital, energetic, and engaged. This brought me back to the 70s when we lived in Syracuse and were part of such a wonderful group of friends. We haven't been close in recent years, moving to different parts of the country and getting involved in our growing families, professional lives, and other responsibilities, but I miss Jane enormously.

How sad to learn of Jane's passing, and yet, how nice to read of the fullness and richness of her productive and rewarding life. I remember Jane's courage and enthusiasm as she embarked on a new life path at Cornell after leaving Syracuse. I helped load Jane's moving truck -- and visited her once after she was settled in Ithaca. And then renewed acquaintance once or twice in New York City when she visited there. Jane was poised, confident, and inspirational. My condolences to the family on their loss.

I am shocked to hear the news of Jane's passing! Dan Vogel of Little Pine Lake, Perham MN sent us word. Jane was my best friend growing up during summers at Little Pine. I am forever grateful for her friendship there. Although 4 years younger than I, that never made a difference to either of us. We always had a great time together. I will always remember her. Love, Peggy

My heart has been heavy since 12/24,...however, thinking of my years knowing Jane since she joined Liz and me at Towers Perrin and the past few years of our Florida "fun" times....the load is lightened. Thanks for that Jane. Laura, Andrew, Viv, Tommy and Cat, she shared your wonderful Italy photo book with us in Florida, what fun she had, pride in all, and then a wedding.....we enjoyed her life so much. The world is less colorful without her and mine is missing a great friend. What I know for sure is we have been blessed to know her. Your loss is great, I'm so sorry, however, you'll never forget great!

Just yesterday I thought I saw Jane in a store. My heart ached when the realization that I won't run into her anymore set in. I'll be forever grateful for the kindness she always showed me and for raising such an amazing daughter who is a truly great friend. She's an inspiration and a model of what a good life looks like.

I'm very glad our lives crossed when I became your neighbor and friend in Norwalk, CT. We had fun times including those group neighbor get togethers with pot luck dinners and watching favorite shows like The Sopranos, Sex In The City evenings, and even The Emmys. You were the more organized one in planning our South Beach meals. It was great cooking with you too! You'll be missed by many of us. ❤️❤️❤️
