Some of my most favorite and precious childhood memories are when all the Groves gang would get together in Quincy, IL for someone's class reunion and all of us grand-kids could get together! Making the trip to Augusta, IL to visit Grandma Groves, Ruby & Edda. Leave it to Uncle Steve to ride his bike across the country and make a stop, of all places, to Quincy once again. I was so proud to be there and to witness his amazing adventure. He truly is an inspiring and dedicated man that I am going to miss SO very much. But knowing he is in a place of true peace and watching over his family, that he loved SO much...makes my broken heart feel a sense of comfort. My prayers will always continue, for you Aunt Kathy, Laurie, Ginger, Peggy and your families(my mom, Aunt Penny, Aunt Joanie & Uncle Chip too)..hoping you will find some peace and comfort, while your heart mends in these difficult days, months and years to come.
