Obituary of Kathleen Matilda Way

Kathleen M. Way, 90, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born August 1, 1925 in Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late James and Bessie Stahley McMahon. She married Clifford G. Way Sr., on June 26, 1953, who preceded her in death on April 24, 2006. She is survived by two children, Clifford G. Way Jr. and his wife, Sylvia, of State College, Charles C. Way and his partner, Louise Biancuzzo, of Howard, two sisters, Gladys McMahon, Betty Peters, both of Bellefonte, five grandchildren, Angela Genito and her husband, Dennis, Amy Bowen and her husband, Marcus, Matthew, Shane and Catelyn Way and one great granddaughter, Maya. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Kathleen attended the Huntingdon County School System. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Susan Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Grays Cemetery, Port Matilda. Memorial contributions may be directed to Pine Hall Lutheran Church, 1760 W. College Avenue, State College, PA 16801.
