I wanted to express my sincere condolences to Marie's family. I met Marie at Wegmans.
I work in the floral department there. I will miss her smile and her kindness so very much. I cannot express how many times her greeting of "Hello Clarissa" and the smile that accompanied it meant to me. She had a way of brightening my day every time she was in to the store. I know a lot of the flowers she bought were gifts for friends or family. I enjoyed hearing her talk about her children and seeing in her expressions the love as she spoke of them. It is rare that most of us would display such kindness and warmth to someone in a service position. This simply seemed to be who Marie is. I have learned a lot from knowing her. The little bit that I did indeed know her. I know she has changed who I am just for knowing her. I also know she is alive within the heart of anyone who knew her and that God needed her for some reason or purpose that is greater than any of us can possibly understand. She truly is an Angel!

I had the pleasure of knowing Marie. Marie shared a special energy and light with those around her, and she was always smiling. One of the most kind and selfless people I have ever known. She will be dearly missed.

Marie is one of the sweetest women I know. I'm a counseling secretary at the high school and every time Marie called or stopped by, she would always have kind words for me and be so appreciative of anything I would do to help. And even though we only saw each other a couple times a year - her warm heart touched me and made me appreciate what I do more. It was such a shock to see her name in the paper. I feel like I just spoke to her just weeks ago. I'll keep all of you in my prayers.

My heart broke when I heard of Marie's homegoing. I was so looking forward to seeing you all, and celebrating the Passover with you on Saturday evening. Be certain the Berean Church Family is praying for you all, trusting that the "God of all comfort' (2 Cor 1) may minister grace and peace in your grief and loss. Marie is rejoicing in the presence of the Passover Lamb! It is finished!

Marie had a magical way of making everyone feel cherished and special. Just a simple greeting from Marie could brighten an entire day. Her spirit glowed warmth and caring, which she shared so freely even in the briefest exchange. Sending prayers for guidance and strength for the Homan family.

Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I knew Marie through Calvary and we would run into each other at the grocery store at times. She always gave me a hug and asked about my family. She was the sweetest and kindest person. I was so saddened to hear about her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
