I knew you dad many many years ago I was about 13 or 14 he used to come home with my brother in law for the weekend he was such a great guy he put up with teenage questions and babies he left such an impression on me I never forgot him even after all these years was looking up his name to try and contact him and found his obituary I am so very sorry for your loss after reading about him so many accomplishments I know you all are so proud and I am proud that I had a chance to know him.Love Melony Weaver.

"Ike", its very hard to learn of your passing. My heartfelt prayers & condolences to your family & friends.
We spent hundreds of hours together on the Broken Artow Ranch, riding, wrangling, floating & 'sparking' ~ all of which you did with a smile, a steady chatter of jokes, puns, pranks ~ all the while, teaching me the right way to do it all, and I will NEVER FORGET YOU & our adventures.

So sad and shocking to learn of Ike's Passing. My Condolences to the family. I greatly enjoyed many hours with Ike at the Legion in Port Matilda. He was fine man and I loved his sense of humor.

Ike was a good friend and co-worker to us both. we knew he was a vet and had been in law enforcement. reading the obit. and candles we find there was so much more than he told us. but that's not surprising Ike wasn't one to boast. we had the priveledge of working with Ike the last 15yrs or so. work is not the same and won't be the same without him.

Ike used to get Christmas presents from King Hussein of Jordan. He is deceased as well, but Queen Nor is still alive.. the son took over his regime. The Queens sister lives in Jackson and they were avid skiers. Every Feb. they would come to Jackson to ski and Ike would work with the Jordanian Secret Service for protection of the King and his families. Ike had some funny stories about the King. Living in Jackson afforded him some great experiences. Their was a highly advertised mock trial in Dallas, Tx for Oswald on the murder of JFK. Jerry Spence (google him) was the attorney for Oswald. Ike did all the ballistics for the trial and the shooting from the building that Oswald supposedly shot the President from...many little known facts. He wasn't one to boast about his career. He also holds the third place position in all of the Marine Corps for target practice with a machine gun. He held second place till some one put him in third place in 91 or 92. He could have written a book.
