Obituary of John Andrews-Labenski

John Andrews- Labenski, 68, of McAlevys Fort died Monday, May 2, 2016, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born February 13, 1948 in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late John J. and Martha Joan Andrews Labenski. He was married to Beth Ann Johnson who survives at home. He is survived by a son Ben Watson and his wife, Kim, of Springfield, VA and two grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. James P. Labenski of Wyomissing and Richard Labenski and his wife, Sue, of Spruce Creek. John was a 1965 graduate of State College Area High School and received his PhD in education from the University of Mississippi, Gulfport in 1995. He was retired from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia where he was a Research Engineer for more than thirty years. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
