Obituary of L. James Schmauch
L. James Schmauch, 97, of State College, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Foxdale Village.
Born June 6, 1913, in Tamaqua, he was a son of the late Henry J. and Annabel Schmauch.
He earned a Bachelor of Science from Penn State.
James lived in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Illinois during his career. He was a researcher for Amoco Corporation and for Standard Oil of Indiana.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Tamaqua.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua with Reverend David Grant officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Foxdale Residents' Association Fund, 500 E. Marylyn Ave., State College, PA 16801.
