On behalf of myself and the Nittany Knights we wish to extend our condolences to the family. Close to half of the chorus was at a retreat this past weekend so were unable to attend the funeral. Clarence was one of the nicest guys and his contributions to the chorus were immense. The chorus would not be where it is today without his leadership.

My deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are with you at this sad time. Dr. Trotter was my first boss in Ag Econ and Rural Sociology when I started working at Penn State in June of 1966. I can still remember his office in the Weaver Building. I recall he asked me to come to his office and I was scared! His smile put me at ease and he merely wanted to welcome me to the College of Agriculture. I took my parents to several Nittany Knights concerts and I remember seeing your Dad. You could tell me loved to sing. He's singing with the angel choir now for sure. Cherish the gift of many wonderful memories. May the support of family and friends give you peace and comfort at this difficult time.
