My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Know that you will see him again and that he's provably asking Wendy to pull his finger. First thoughts were when we where young and all pile in the station wagon and go to beach. That and the trips to NH and later PA. He will be missed and has a great legacy take care of Mom.

With the exception of my father, Josh Tobey was by far the most influential person in my life. I met Josh in my late teens and he was an inspirational teacher, coach, and mentor throughout my 20’s. He so believed in my potential and capabilities – Josh was instrumental in me exceeding both.
Although his physical presence has left us, I can tell you from experience that his unique spirit, stories, smile, and selflessness will outlive us all. A great life lived is measured by the lives one influences – Josh Tobey lived a GREAT life. God Bless you Josh, may you rest in peace.

Jonathan and Katie Tobey just read this obituary. It's very hard to believe that Josh is gone. Our whole family is reeling and missing him. We are so sad. And we are so glad he had such a wonderful family to support and care for him.
No one has more stories to tell about Josh than Jon, my dad, because they were in SO MANY stories together!! What incredible stories they are!
