Obituary of Laurie Lynn Briscoe

Laurie Lynn Briscoe, 54, of Philipsburg, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, at her residence. Born May 31, 1962 in Athens, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert Duane Bell and Nora Arlene Rutter Bell, who survives. She married Kevin Briscoe, on January 24, 1983, who survives at home. She is survived by four children, Patrick Shawn Briscoe and his partner Christina Dembowski, Michael Kevin Briscoe and his wife Katie, Daniel Collin Briscoe and his wife Deanna and Andrew Ryan Briscoe, all of Philipsburg. A brother, Robert Duane Bell Jr. and his fiancé Sherry Ryser of Titusville, FL, a sister, Eva Diann Streno and her husband John, of Philipsburg and seven grandchildren, Irelyn, Nola, Hunter, Makayla, Jack, Khloe and Ronin. Laurie was a 1980 graduate of State College High. She attended South Hills Business School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and cooking. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
