Obituary of Carla R. Wild

Carla Ruth Wild, 67, died July 29, 2016 at Wynwood House in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania. Born January 9, 1949, in Sharon, she was the daughter of the late Karl E, and Ruth E. Mencer Wild. She is survived by two brothers, Charles F. Wild (wife Patricia) of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, Kenneth J. (wife Laura) of Arlington, WA, and 3 nieces, one nephew and 2 grandnephews. Carla was a 1967 graduate of Sharon High School. She enjoyed embroidery and was an accomplished cross stitcher. Following the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins was a favorite past time for Carla and made for many animated conversations. She was a volunteer for the Community Library of the Shenango Valley and was an avid reader. She lived in Sharon for 67 years and moved to Boalsburg in May to be closer to her family. Carla valued her relationships with family, neighbors, and friends and we will miss her. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
