My family sends you the most sincere condolences. My son, Lukas, was lucky to spend time with "Mr. F" at Radio Park and I always enjoyed talking with him at pick up. We will remember him as a kind soul and a wonderful role model, with a quick wit, a smile on his face, and an encouraging word. We will miss him.

To the Fiorante Family,
We were saddened to read of the passing of Chuck Fiorante this week. We remember your family including Chuck, Linda and Drew from many years ago in Little League baseball and elsewhere. Our son, Alex, played with Drew and perhaps, he was coached by Austin during the years he participated as a coach long ago. We remember all of you at this time of passing with much fondness. LINDA,
AS A NEW TEACHER WITH A VERY MODEST COLLEGE CAREER, I KNEW ANDY (I NEVER CALLED HIM CHUCK) AND AS YOU WOULD EXPECT FOLLOWED HIS CAREER. INSTEAD OF THAT I WANTED TO TELL YOU AND DREW AND KELLY ABOUT MY CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE WITH ANDY. HE WAS IN A VERY DIFFICULT CLASS AT THE END OF OUR DAY THAT LOVED TO TRY THE "NEW GUY" ANDY HOWEVER WAS NEVER PART OF THAT. HE WAS UNFAILINGLY POLITE, RESPECTFUL AND THAT WAS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO ME. IN OVER 30 YEARS AT NECAHI I NEVER HAD THAT ENCOUNTER WITH ANOTHER STUDENT. NOT ONCE!
THAT IS WHY YOUR ANDY WAS SO SPECIAL TO ME. WE ALL LOVED TO WATCH HIM THROW, BUT I HAVE MY OWN MEMORIES OF ONE OF MY MOST SPECIAL KIDS. THAT IS WHY IS IS ON AN OLD TEACHER'S GREATEST TEAMS.THAT IS WHAT I WANTED TO SHARE WITH YOU AND HIS SONS.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Chucks passing. It seems like yesterday that we were sitting on your front porch having ice tea with him. I worked with and for Andy at Supelco. Nothing was more important to him than his family.
