Obituary of Pamela Brumbaugh Lehman

Pamela Brumbaugh Lehman, 87, of State College and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully September 23, 2016, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College. She was born July 20, 1929, to Glen W. Brumbaugh and Ruth Pugh Brumbaugh. She grew up in Steelton and was a 1947 graduate of Steelton High School. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carlton B. Lehman; a sister, Roberta Hair; three daughters Carla Jeremias (Matt), Amy Bobb (Kevin), and Robin Porterfield (Mark); four grandchildren, Shannon and Christopher Porterfield and Wesley and Aaron Bobb; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; one niece and three nephews. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Harrisburg and attended Park Forest Village United Methodist Church while residing in State College. During her life, Pam worked as an administrative professional at Northwestern Mutual Insurance, Dauphin County District Attorney office, Geiger and Geiger, and Central Dauphin High School. A visitation with the family will occur in State College Wednesday, September 28, 6-8 p.m., at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St. A service celebrating her life will be held Friday, September 30, at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 a.m., at Calvary United Methodist Church, 4700 Locust Lane, Harrisburg. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Cemetery.
