I only recently became acquainted with Kathleen, excited, after all these years, to be in touch with relatives through my great uncle Peter, whom I met once, as a third-grader, when he visited his brother Hugh in Waterford, Connecticut. She and I spoke on the phone a couple of times over the years-- I was always hoping I could combine one of our rare visits to State College with a chance to meet her in person, but it never worked out. I had a very nice visit on the phone with her earlier this year. I am grateful to her brother for letting me know of her death.
