Obituary of Pedro Manuel Arismendi

Pedro Manuel Arismendi, 65, died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at home. Born October 4, 1951, in Caracas, Venezuela, he was the son of the late Pedro Antonio Arismendi and Maria Jesus Vilches de Yackovlev. On April 29, 1982 he married Monica Arismendi, who survives. Also surviving are two children, Erika Shoffner and her husband, Brent, of Port Matilda and Pedro Elias Arismendi of Tampa, FL; Siblings, Maria Mercedes Arismendi de De Lamo and her husband, Octavio, of Doral, FL, Marco Antonio Arismendi and his wife, Ines, of Foxboro, MA, Ana Arismendi Morton and her husband, Greg, of Moreno Valley, CA, Maria Helena Arismendi of Doral, FL and Irene Yackovlev Knizek and her husband, Claudio, of Oak Hill, VA; one grandson, Parker Shoffner. He was a 1969 graduate of La Salle High School in Caracas, Venezuela. Pedro retired in 2010 after 40 years as a commercial pilot. Services will be private.
