Emilie, you have my deepest sympathy and regret during this time regarding the loss of your Mom. I never got a chance to meet you, however, I had the pleasure of listening to your Mom speak of you with such Joy and Love and gratefulness to have you in her life. Your Mom and I initially met when she recruited me to interview for an Assistant Mgr position with Victoria's Secret and she was the Manager. I worked alongside your Mom for several months before she became the General Mgr at Nittany Mall. We became friends quickly and I admired her class and style. Bonnie, your Mom was always radiant, professional at work and the most fun spirited soul to be around outside of work. I too graduated from Penn State and my marriage had us leaving State College back in 1995. The last time, I saw your wonderful Mom she was still at the Mall and I saw pictures of you in her office. As she spoke of you then, her face lit up with such love for you and how much she loved being a mother and that it was the best experience of her life. I always kept your Mom as a reference when I would apply to jobs and update her on where my next career move was taking me. The last time we spoke, was last year. I live & work in CA now and ironically, I called on a client who lives in Bellefonte but they have a vacation home here and we started naming people we might mutually know since she and her husband are both PSU alum and I said "you might know Bonnie Tarman although, I know she is divorced" Emile, my eyes fill with tears now as they instantly did when this client shared the sad news of her passing. I immediately, thought of you and said a prayer as I remembered every conversation we had in confidence before you were born and the few times we spoke since you came into her life and made everything right, bright and beautiful to why she was so grateful to be given the gift to Love you. Your Mom is your brightest Angel and I know you know this to be true. God Bless You,
S

Words cannot do justice to the wonderful soul Bonnie is. She was literally my first my best friend starting in 1962 until my family moved from state college in 1968. Bonnie was there and I cried as we pulled out of the driveway because I didn't want to leave her. I still have many snapshot memories in my head of those years. I was involved in a very intense physical therapy program, and Bonnie's mother helped out with this. Even as a toddler to 7 year old, Bonnie would play by herself and then play with me during the 15 minute breaks I had each hour. She would make my mom do some of the exercises with her as well! We went to school and ballet classes together. Even at that young age, the limp I have didn't put her off. And this is before there were characters with 'disabilities' on tv. We visited and kept in touch sporadically over the years. Bonnie had a good word for everyone. She always spoke so enthusiastically of her family and friends that she loved! My thoughts, prayers and good energy are with you as you grieve and find a way to keep her in your lives even as she is not physically present. Your memories and the things she gave you keep you connected!

Lit from within, Bonnie was God's light in the darkness. Was there ever a time she was negative??? We NEVER saw it. She was always positive, loving, accessible, open, generous and caring. What a gift it was to know her. The light of Bonnie's life was Emilie. She will always carry Bonnie's love with her. Bonnie was such a proud mother-- Emilie was everything to her. Emilie was first and foremost in Bonnie's life. Such a legacy.
A mother's deepest love-- perfect and pure. Rest well, sweet Bonnie.

Sorry to hear about the death of your loved one, I to have lost two family members this month, what has helped me is the scripture at Acts chapter 24 verse 15 which says in part "there is going to be a resurrection " God has resurrected humans in the pasted and is eager to do it again.
Hope this information will help you as it has helped me.
Respectfully Carol Baynes
