Our deepest and most heart-felt sympathy goes out to each of you at the loss of your dad. He truly was a very special person and we are so glad that we had the opportunity to get to know him over the years. The sadness you all are feeling at this time is difficult, but take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place and reunited with your mother, and all of his other family and friends who have gone on before him. Smit left an imprint on my heart. My heart hurts today as I knew it would, I may cry a bit for my own selfish reasons, but I do know, God only takes the best. In only a year, Smit became one of my very favorite people. My heart goes out to all of his wonderful family in this sad time.
