Dear Linda, Peter and Abby,
Your Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother was a remarkable woman! I am sending love and light. As you go through one of most challenging experiences life hands us, I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It gets a bit easier as time goes on.
Much love,
J

I knew Peggy for years before she became home-bound. As had been stated, she was active in Presbytery, and I knew her as a fellow Park Forest Village resident. Her yellow mailbox was unique and practical, making it easy to find her house which was always surrounded by beautiful flowers.
When I entered seminary, Peggy gave me her copy of the Anchor Bible volume, An Introuction to the New Testament by Raymond E. Brown. She knew and told me that it was an excellent resource, long before I learned the value of the Anchor Series.
Peggy was wise, knowledgeable, caring, sharing, up on things, and had a good sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. My condolences to her family.
In Christ's love, Barby
