It was a privilege to work alongside a fellow musician for a dozen years. My memories of Bob are of a soft-spoken and thoughtful gentleman with a sparkle in his eye and a ready smile.
I didn't know he was born in North Adams until I read the obituary. My wife's mother grew up there, and I hope we will find out more about our family connections at the Memorial Service!
I Thes. 4:13-14: But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

Bob was one of the nicest men in business. He was always willing to teach and help others. The world is a better place from him having been here. I know there are many in the Cannon Instrument Co. family who are very saddened by the news of his passing.

With great sadness we received the news that Bob passed away. We got to know Bob when we started our business relationship with Cannon in 1989. He has learned us a lot about viscometry, for which we thank him.
We would like to give our sincerest condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Bob and Marge were long-term friends of Jean and I and Bob was a highly-respected technical associate over more than 60 years.
Bob was a gentle, good man who consistently showed his sensitivity to others at human and spiritual levels. He was one of the men in my life with whom I could easily share this life.
With sincere sympathy for his children, yet I rejoice in his next experiences in being and reunion with Marge.
Ted Selby
