Dear Mom,
It was such a joy to spend so much time with you these past 15 years while we shared the challenges of caring for Dad during his illness, and then after his death. In the process we discovered how much we loved each other's company.You were always up for an adventure with me and we enjoyed trips to visit relatives, concerts, eating out or just watching our favorite programs and laughing together. You were so intelligent, gentle, unassuming and wise. You lived your life with quiet dignity and integrity. You were the best of friends. I am so proud of you and so grateful for your careful and attentive mothering. I knew this time would come to say goodbye--it's the hardest part of life. Know that you will be missed deeply until we meet again and may you know from the spirit world the love that we faithfully keep for you. I love you Mom.
