Two of my favorite people of my lifetime - John and Wendy Buchart. John was my mentor, Zion Choir buddy, York Association UCC combined choir conductor, community volunteer leadership champion and all around good person. Wendy was always by his side. The ever-supporting life partner. Always kind, pleasant and caring. I recall when John announced his retirement. He said to me (paraphrasing a bit), "I want to spend more quality time with my best friend and my wife, Wendy!" They were, and now are, the perfect couple. Laurel and Scott, you know just how blessed you have been and I am sure they will continue to guide you and our families through life.
As for me, I am so very thankful for their impact on my life.
May your faith strengthen you and bring you peace . . . .
