This is very sad news. I came to know Ron at Penn State as a dear colleague and friend. He was always seriously committed to our academic goals, including that of maintaining high academic standards. And then I always enjoyed being able to discuss Penn State wrestling with him. I am ever so pleased that he was able to experience and enjoy these past years of Penn State wrestling with coach Cael Sanderson on board.
My deepest and sincerest condolences to Jane and the rest of the Ron Koot family.
