Obituary of Miriam K. Dreibelbis
Miriam K. "Mim" Dreibelbis of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania died Sunday, March 26, 2017, at Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg.
Born March 18, 1929 in Ben Avon, Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Howard P. and Clara Engle Keim. On June 12, 1951, she married Jack H. Dreibelbis who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Daniel B. Dreibelbis and his wife, Kim, of Philadelphia, Donald H. Dreibelbis and his wife, Beckie, of Lebanon, Gail D. Bender and her husband, Chris, of Somerville, NJ and Kent D. Dreibelbis and his wife, Donna, of Allenwood, NJ; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Howard.
She was a 1947 graduate of Avonworth High School, and a 1951 graduate of Penn State University.
Miriam taught school earlier in her career, then worked in the banking industry, advancing to Officer for the Dauphin Bank & Trust Co. until her retirement.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, where she served on the church council.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., on Friday March 31, 2017 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home, at 12 p.m., with the Reverend Virginia Cover officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1610 Carlisle Road, Camp Hill.
