Obituary of Myra Lanager

Myra M. Lanager, 84, of Snow Shoe, died, Friday, July 15, 2011, at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born March 17, 1927, in Snow Shoe, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mary Park Dixon. Her husband, Reginald Lanager, preceded her in death on January 24, 1995. She is survived by two children, Jeffrey Lanager, Sr. and his wife, Renee, of Sandy Ridge, and Elizabeth "Beth" A. Watson and her husband, Mark, of Moshannon, and one grandson, Jeffrey Lanager, Jr. She also loved her precious dog, Mandolin. Myra's greatest joy was found in her kids, to whom she devoted her life to. She also is survived by a dear friend who was daughter like to her, Connie Salvanish and her husband Joe of Clarence. She was a 1946 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. Myra was a Data Entry Clerk for Supelco. She was a member of Snow Shoe United Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, knitting, and loved visiting with her friends and family. A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, at the Snow Shoe United Methodist Church, 500 Sycamore Street, Snow Shoe, with the Pastor Susan Pallo officiating. Burial will be in Askey Cemetery, Snow Shoe. Memorial contributions may be made to Snow Shoe United Methodist Church, 500 Sycamore Street, Snow Shoe, PA 16874.
