Dear Brame Family,
I am so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Brame's passing. She was a lovely woman and always a warm presence in the library at State High. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Our condolences to the Brame family. I did not know that Mrs. Brame had Alzheimers. My mother passed away from it this past December. It is a devastating disease that robs wonderful people of their spirit.
My father, Fred Thompson and his wife, Joanne knew Barb and Jack "in their younger days" and my father sends his condolences to the family.
Mrs. Brame or "Lady" as we called her was my cheerleading advisor in 1981-1982. She was a special lady and really seemed to enjoy the young ladies she mentored. She inspired us to work hard, maintain a good reputation at the school (or her library ears would find out). Our squad was number one in regional competition under under Lady's instruction. Such good memories.
Sincerely,
Carol (Thompson) Pepper and Fred Thompson

I miss Barbara already - she was a great friend and supporter - I have so many items in my basement storage that Barbara or her special group of friends did for me, the school or students. I have 3 feet by 4 feet poem laminated hanging down stairs that she wrote for me and our involvement with staff and students. She was a special part of my life and I visited her a couple of times at The Oaks along with seeing Gary Dievert. She even liked my accordion songs
and again I played it at the Oaks, now I play at Brookline for Bill Sipple and others!!
Actually spent more time in the library with her and others at State High than I did when going to Penn State!!
