Dear Valerie, Aunt Dorothy and the Torretti Family,
We're deeply saddened as we offer our heartfelt condolences in the death of your beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and cousin.
May Gary rest in peace. And may God comfort and console all of you, and give you the courage and strength to carry on.
Gary was a wonderful man...a close cousin of Eileen...dedicated to God, family, country and music. With his shining personality, he was a lot of fun to be around -- always with a warm, friendly smile -- he so often was the center of a party, or any other gathering.
We know Gary was a fine salesman, having worked at Nissan of State College, formerly Leitzinger's Imports, for 38 years!
It was with great disappointment that we were unable to make it to the visitation or to the Funeral Mass. Eileen became somewhat incapacitated when she suffered a severe ankle injury a few days ago, causing extended swelling and much pain and suffering, greatly restricting her walking. She felt she wasn't in condition to travel. And she didn't want to burden folks back home had she been able to make the trip.
It's good that the family will continue to hold the pre-planned Annual Torretti Family Reunion on Saturday. We're sure Gary would have wanted it that way. We wish we could be there, too.
We're all going to miss Gary...and his smiling face.
May the Lord bless you and keep you...and may Our Blessed Mother be with y'all.
Love, joy, peace and prayers,
Eileen and Doc

Gary is such a wonderful person and friend. I am at a loss for words. What do you say about someone you have known for 60 years. There is not enough room here. My sympathy to Valerie and the entire family. Gary keep playing the guitar and keep on Rockin'. Until we meet again you will be in our hearts. Godspeed!

My deepest sympathy to the Torretti family, so very sorry for your loss. May you turn to the God of all comfort to help heal your hearts, and look forward to His future promise to us at Revelation 21:4...."And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

You were such an amazing person and will be greatly missed. I worked with Gary for two years at Nissan. I have many great memories of his daily jokes and brightness that carried us through our long work days that I will cherish for a lifetime. Sending my prayers and thoughts to Gary's family at this time. He definitely left a mark on every person he met in this lifetime.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. We didn't know Gary well, but will remember him singing to and dancing with his mom at the church picnic a few years ago. Dorothy just lit up like a Christmas tree, she was so proud. Know your family is remembered in our thoughts and prayers. We are so sorry for your loss.
Most sincerely,
Terry and Denise (Bontempo) Laukitis
