Our sons were two of the many who benefited from "Kunsie's" childcare in the 1970s. I never had reservations about the kindness and guidance of the care that she provided. She had a great understanding of children and, quite frankly, was more patient than I with their little quirks that sometimes presented. I never heard her raise her voice or criticize behavior, but somehow she let each child know it was OK for them to say no to something (such as not eating something in their lunch) and still have a harmonious experience. I have fond memories of "Kunsie" and am thankful that my boys got to know and care for someone as special as her.
