Obituary of Nash Allen Walker
Nash Allen Walker, 25, of Lewistown, died Monday, August 14, 2017, at home.
Born August 19, 1991, in Clearfield, he was the son of James A. Walker and Melissa Owens Sheffer.
Nash is survived by his mother Melissa F. Sheffer, and her husband, Michael, of Port Matilda; father, James A. Walker and his wife, Martha, of Jersey Shore; foster parents, Richard and Tracy Korb of woodland; sisters, Casandra Sheffer and her fiancé Timothy Tingler, of Port Matilda, Adison Walker of Jersey Shore, and Neveah Walker, of Jersey Shore; foster siblings, Kyle Korb of Clearfield, Rachael Harris of Clearfield, Ashley Noye of New Jersey and Mary Korb of Iowa; maternal grandmother, Elwilda Reish and her husband, John; maternal grandfather, Joseph Owens, II and his wife, Judy; Paternal grandmother, Margaret Spicer; aunts and uncles, Ritchie Spicer, Lynnae Mclauchlin, Chantal Laing, Tayna Hockman, and Joseph Owens, III; step-aunt, Jamey Shreckengast; step-uncle, Eric Fye; and many cousins.
He was predeceased in death by his brother, Christopher Stains, and two uncles, Jeff Reish and Conrad Owens.
Nash graduated from State College Area High School in 2010. Following high school, Nash held various jobs throughout the area.
He enjoyed gaming and hunting deer. Nash was a jokester and will be fondly remembered for his pranks and sense of humor. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone who needed. Nash will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, with the former Pastor Pete Zengel officiating.
The family suggests donations for funeral expenses be made to Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, PA 16801, for Nash in lieu of flowers.
