I met Evelyn through Meals on Wheels since I have been delivering her meals once a week for about 1 year. She was always a very lively and lovely woman, just a joy to know, however briefly. I know she was in a lot of pain in her last few months, but she never complained or felt sorry for herself. Instead she joked about silly things and we both laughed a lot. I admire her strength, kindness and humor. I will miss her.

My most sincere condolences for your loss. Evie was one of my favorite people who brought smiles to ever person she met. She was the perfect greeter of the guests visiting State College and staying at the Days Inn Penn State.
Her love for her family showed brightly as did her love of life. The world benefited greatly from her spirit, her sass, and her love. She will be truly missed.
