Brewer and lived in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, and later for 24 years in Green Valley, Arizona, before returning to State College. During this time Norma's love of art and beauty played a continuing part in her life through the creation of many sketches, drawings, paintings, and pottery. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Lemont, and enjoyed the company of her family and caregivers in her later years. She was predeceased by her husband William S. Brewer who died on July 27, 2017.
Norma is survived by a sister Ann Jonas Malpass; children Jonas Havens (Jackie), Thomas Havens (Sue), Andrew Havens (Patty), David Havens (Diane), and Nathaniel Havens (Pete); stepchildren Patrick Brewer (Ansusan), William Brewer (Nargisa), Denise O'Donnell (Tim) and Daniel Brewer; and many/numerous much-loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 25th at the home of Andrew and Patty Havens, located at 1235 Crestfield Drive in Williamsport, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be privately held at Wildwood Cemetery.
A very special thanks to all the care givers from Comfort Keepers of State College who were so kind, faithful, and loyal, making her last few years more enjoyable and comfortable.
