Obituary of Harold G. Musser, Jr.

Harold G. Musser, Jr. passed away at home on October 30, 2017. Born October 18, 1945, he was the son of Harold and Betty Musser, who proceeded him in death. Hal graduated from State High in 1963. He served on active duty in the Air Force and retired from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard in 1993. In 1969, while on active duty in Wiesbaden Germany, he met and married Inger Carlsson. They were married for 41 years before she passed away in 2011. Hal was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Strickland (Sam) of Pennsylvania Furnace, Kristina Whitaker (Gary) of State College, and his five beloved grandchildren, Johnny, Elsa, and Benjamin Strickland, and Pippa-Davey and Barent Whitaker. He was a proud supporter of many charitable organizations, including Paralyzed Veterans of America and The American Red Cross. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, with Bob Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
