Obituary of Carol A. Lassman

Carol A. Lassman, 76, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Centre Crest.

Born March 20, 1941, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Robert Ralph Kucas and Caroline Martha Drapcho Kucas, who survives in Bellefonte. On June 15, 1963 she married Donald E. Lassman, who preceded her in death on December 11, 1996.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Nancy Ann Swartzell and her husband, Jim and a brother, Robert M. Kucas and his wife, Glenda, all of Bellefonte.

She was a 1958 graduate of Bellefonte High School.

Carol retired from Penn State University in 1993 after 35 years of service as a Proof Reader for a Printing Service.

She attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, State College and St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Bellefonte.    

Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m., on Monday, November 13, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 134 Bishop Street, Bellefonte. Funeral service will follow at 12 p.m., at the church, with Father George I. Jakopac officiating.

Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School, 134 Bishop Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
