Dear Martin and Tawnya,
My daughter Jill told me about your daughter April's passing and I just want to extend my heartfelt condolences to you both and her siblings. I can't even imagine the pain you must both feel losing a child.
I just completed a prayer to our Lord for His Mercy on dear April and I prayed for her quick entrance to his Kingdom. I also pray for peace for you both as you will see her again.
God bless your family.
Debby

April I always loved seeing you at the gym. Your dedication and willpower where unbelievable. You touched the lives of many people and would not let cancer slow you down. I will miss seeing you and wish you were here with us. Rest in peace dear April. I hope they have Spartan races in heaven

Though I never met April, through her aunt Margo I participated in several of the fund raisers to help her treatment plan and fight for her life. She inspired us all to live life to its fullest. Jimmy Buffet sang in “Growing older but not up” the words that epitomized April as she fought for her life. Those words are, “Id rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead!” And live she did until she could no more. She died with her “boots on,” although in her case they were her running shoes. Her example will forever be a reminder to me and those whose lives she touched. And now for her, the marathon to and through the pearly gates. May she Rest In Peace!!

You were one of the nicest people that I knew, always willing to help out others. Your personality was one of the best and you always had on a smile. You were very kind and one of the greatest friends that I have. I met you in the 4th grade at Lamar township elementary and you were very accepting of everyone and you grew up into a strong independent woman. I am so glad to call you a friend and I will miss you deeply. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

I met April through running, and she was on my Mountain back relay team one year. She had an infectious smile and a sunny disposition. We used to pass each other on early morning runs, and she'd always wave. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.
