Edward Mattil had a powerful impact on the mission of the American Cancer Society in State College. His memory will live on through that work and the example that he set. He was a leader and friend to the Society and a Champion to those who needed help. He will be missed.

I remember my Uncle Ed as being my "cool" Uncle. He was always a lot of fun and a source of great laughter. We had one of his original paintings hanging in our home while I was growing up. We loved it. He could never understand why we loved it so much because his painting had evolved. It now hangs in my home.
My Dad, Ed's older brother by five years, died in 1976 of pancreatic cancer. Our contact since then has been limited. However he and my daughter worked together on our family history and she cherishes those memories.
He was a kind and very generous man. He leaves a great legacy.

"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." (Isaiah 26:19) This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our dead loved ones again in a new world! Please seek Jehovah God to see his promises fulfilled....
