Obituary of William L. Miller
William L. "Bill" Miller, 89, of State College, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Born August 13, 1928, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Ethel Miller. On December 10, 1950, he married Jo-Anne Trostle, who survives.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, he is survived by three children, Karen M. Wilson and her husband, Frank, of Boalsburg, William H. Miller and his wife, Karen, of Matthews, NC and Wendy M. Littlejohn and her husband, Lance, of McGregor, TX; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of the Harris Township High School. After graduation he served as a Sargent in the United States Army during World War II.
Bill retired from Clasters Home Building Materials as a Purchasing Agent.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and the Masons F & AM Lodge #700.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
