I met Bill many years ago in Germany. I remember the fun times, with the Porche Club and inane tour of Berlin . . .

Sorry to hear of Bill's passing.
I was a PSU classmate and member of the Tri-Service Pershing Rifles drill team with Bill. I last saw him at Mike Lightner's 50th wedding anniversary in 1959. Our paths crossed several times but we were unaware of it - 45th PSU Reunion, at Templehof when he was there and I visited while stationed with NATO at SHAPE in Belgium.
He certainly had an active and fulfilling career both in the military and afterwards, and will be missed by friends, family and the community.

Bill brightened my life at wellspring. We were table mates, he was a good friend and in quizzes a fierce competitor. I miss him. I send deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences to his family and friends.

Bill was a good friend, a great guy. I spent many hours of many days with him - selling hockey merchandise, watching volleyball and hockey games (often on the road), going to OLLI picnics. I once taught an OLLI class, and he attended just because I was the instructor. Great times.
Sincerest condolences to his family and other friends.

I remember Bill from Penn State and our mutual membership in Pershing Rifles drill team. He has had a fantastic life from what I have read in his obituary. We have not been in contact since graduation from Penn State. Please accept my condolences for his passing. Skip Van Brunt

We knew this was coming, but still it hurts. Last saw Bill at our 50th (& reunion) in Jun 2009 here at our house. All the guys from ROTC who were in our wedding. What a great memory. My brother lost his wife to that horrible disease four years ago and she was in he early 40's! So I think I can say-God speed BSIII & Peace to all his kin.

My sympathy to you all. I was in Bill's company at times from PSU Armory, while I was in Angel Flight, until he hosted my daughter and I in Berlin. Know that you all were the delight of his life. He shall be missed.
