Elizabeth, I learned of Dick’s deathin the ICU of Northwestern University Hospital where I’m spending my brother’s last little bit of time with him. I am so sorry to hear he no longer walks the earth with us! Though I find my own parents are supporting me through this experience with my baby brother.
I last saw Dick the day Abby had a stroke not too long ago. He gave her some aspirin in some ice cream after I took her to the dog park where she was a young beagle. He was good to encourage both of us.
I’m very sorry this happened.
