I had the honor of playing for Coach King as a student/athlete at Allentown Central Catholic. I first met Coach when he was on the staff with my uncle John Whitehead at Lehigh. He was a good man, a good coach and he will be sorely missed. My condolences to his family, may The Lord be with you at this time of grief.

Wally is surely missed by so many. To us he was a brother in law, uncle and Godfather to both of our children. We have so many fun memories at the Alvin Letowt homestead in Bethlehem, PA and remember when he announced his move to Maryland. He had great plans and hopes to enrich the football community there as well. He exceeded with greatness in his coaching and family careers. God has blessed us all who knew and loved Walt King. Our prayers are with the children and grandchildren and we share your grief.
Chris, his beautiful wife, will greet him with open arms into Heaven where they are together again. Their love story continues. And maybe he can share a cigar with Grandpa Letowt talking sports and family anecdotes.
Dear God the father, keep our family strong and bless our loved ones in your keeping. Amen.
With loving thoughts, Jane L. and Dave Halteman, Adam Halteman, Rebecca H. and Todd Hower, Blake and Sadie

Walt was a kind, welcoming man with a great smile. I am honored to have known him. He will be missed by all who knew him.
My sincere condolences.
Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

Walt was the kindest and most generous spirit I've ever known. I was so honored and blessed to have had Walt as a friend. He always made you feel like family when you came to visit. He was truly a blessing in my life and I will miss him. He will forever be in our hearts.
My deepest condolences.

Bob: Sorry to hear of your loss . . . Walt was a good friend, set a great example for others, and as so many know, he was a terrific athlete . . . looks like he followed in the footsteps of his father.
Best wishes to you and family going forward.
Brian Wolf
